This piece, exhibited at the Hualien Railway Culture Park, is the result of a three day workshop with local residents, learning about unorthodox sound recording techniques like contact microphones and electromagnetic waves. The piece contains 8 paintings by the workshop participants. The visitors can listen to the recordings of the students, as well as excerpts from their memories in Hualien, by using a probe and touching the paintings at different points. Each painting will play back different sounds and touching them at different points will influence the volume. By touching several paintings at once, the visitors can remix the memories and recordings into a new composition of their own.
